Accident investigation, root cause and cost analysis training

According to International Labour Organisation, 153 workers in every 15 seconds are encountering a work related accident. With such global rates of accidents, the need to address the root cause and cost implications of such accidents remains at the forefront of tackling the accidents at work place and general operations.

Busoga Forestry Company Ltd contracted ACM Ltd, a consulting firm to conduct an Accident investigation, root cause and cost analysis training of it's staff including senior managers, Finance, supervisors and certification officers. The participants were equipped with practical skills in accident investigations, root causes and their analysis coupled with financial cost implications of accidents. The four day course resulted into the formation of plantations and industrial Accident investigations teams.

Trained teams shall be at the forefront of ensuring safety of BFC workplaces and field operations and disseminating of the information to the field staff in the various departments.
